There are two ways of calculating your BMI:
1. Standard or Metric system:
- In this system, first of all, you have to know your exact weight in kilograms and height in meter squares.
- Then divide your weight(kg) on your height(m2), and the final result will be your body mass index.
- Get your weight in pounds and height in inches
- Than multiply(*) your weight in pounds by 705 e.g. 110 pounds*705=77550
- Now divide it by your height in inches i.e 77550/60=1292
- After this again divide this result by your height in inches i.e. 1292/60=21.5
- and this last 21.5 is your final result and your body mass index.
These two are very simple methods to find your body mass index and then comparing these results with the standard scale to know your rang BMI TABLE whether you lie in underweight range, healthy weight range, over weight range, or you are obese
