Google Alerted Bloggers and Content Creators To Switch Their Payment Method

Google alert bloggers and YouTubers who were using western union for their payment from Google AdSense. The news was shared by Google through a notification on the AdSense dashboard. Google also points out which payment gateways can be used to receive payment from Google AdSense. Google recommended the publishers currently using Western Union to switch their payment method to another payment form. The announcement was released on 10 August 2020.

Moreover, the payment through western union will be stopped in early 2021. Google will inform in advance to the publishers and content creators currently using Western Union when the service of the western union will no longer be used to receive money in their country. There are some other payment gateways available (vary from country to country) which can be used to receive payment by switching to them.
